Mayor to Honor Navy Sailor
Sailor will receive proclamation of bravery for helping car crash victims
Chief Culinary Specialist Daniel Spencer will be honored on Friday at the Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton for assisting two car crash victims, the Associated Press reported.
Ledyard Mayor John Rodolico will present Spencer's award.
According to the article, members of the Gales Ferry Fire Company and sub base will attend.
