Ledge Light Health District Seeking Volunteers for Medical Reserve Corps

Are you interested in helping out local communities during disease outbreaks, natural disasters, flu clinics, practice drills, or general community health outreach? If so, we’re looking for you!

The Ledge Light Health District Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a group of dedicated volunteers from medical and non-medical backgrounds that provide public health emergency response and health outreach within New London County.

The MRC will be holding an orientation for new volunteers on Wednesday, August 29 at the Ledge Light Health District office, 216 Broad Street, New London. The orientation starts at 5:00 p.m. with a light supper. A general meeting for all MRC members will follow at 6:30-8.

Whether you are a in the medical field or not, we could use your skills for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to administrative duties, greeters, interpretation/translation, logistics, etc
