The volunteers of the Ledyard Fire Company will be conducting our annual Santa Run on the weekend of December 8/9.
On Saturday December 8th, we will be covering the town south of Route 214. On Sunday December 9th we will be covering north of Route 214.
During this event Santa will be driven by fire truck to most streets in town. Santa and firefighters will be available for photos and will provide candy, dog treats and free smoke and/or carbon monoxide detectors as requested while supplies last.
Residents will be alerted by brief usage of fire truck siren and air horns as Santa arrives on their streets. In addition, the volunteer fire company will be continuing with our Santa Gift Delivery Program.
Residents can make appointments to have Santa hand-deliver a wrapped gift on the weekend of December 22/23. Gifts should be wrapped and dropped off to the station prior to December 21.
Santa and firefighters will spend about 15 minutes at each house for photos with children and fire trucks. A small donation of the residents choosing to the Ledyard Fire Company will assist in our fundraising efforts.
