Is your New Years’ Resolution to quit smoking? Ledge Light Health District has free 6-week programs starting in January to help you get on the right track!

Participants will learn about nicotine addiction, how to deconstruct smoking behavior, what nicotine replacement or medication is right for you, how to manage and cope with triggers and how to create the right quit plan for you.

A daytime class will be offered at the Gales Ferry Library beginning January 10 from 9-10:30 a.m. and an evening class will be offered at the Waterford Public Library beginning January 9 from 6-7:30 p.m. Classes are free and participants meet weekly.

If you have questions or would like to register for one of these free programs, please call Program Coordinator Carolyn Wilson at 860.448.4882 ext. 318.
