SECT Region Teen Puppy Raisers Are Proud of Their Pups-

Guiding Eyes for the Blind puppy raisers Jessica Meyer with Shamus and Hannah Davis with Riley, are both volunteers for the Southeastern Connecticut region of the Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

Jessica and Hannah have been responsible for all aspects of caring, socializing and training for these pups since the pups were 8 weeks old. Shamus and Riley are now 17 months old and are ready to go back to Guiding Eyes for the Blind in Yorktown Heights, New York for further training to become guide dogs.

For Hannah, "It was a wonderful life changing experience to raise Riley. Riley has made a difference in our lives and we hope she makes a difference in the life of someone who needs her."
