Members of the League of Women Voters of Connecticut spent Wednesday, March 26th, at the Neil Simon Theater in New York City where they enjoyed watching Bryan Cranston portray President Lyndon B. Johnson in the Broadway play "All the Way". The event was a fundraiser for the Education Fund of the LWV.
This highly acclaimed political play covered the period of Johnson's life from becoming President of the United States after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy through his successful election campaign for president eleven months later.
Co-Presidents of the Connecticut League Judy Dolphin of Gales Ferry and Cheryl Dunson of Greenwich were joined by many other members, including four from the League of Women Voters of Southeastern Connecticut, and Connecticut Secretary of State Denise Merrill.
