After The Storm, A Rainbow

Thunderstorms were the order of the day Monday, but late Monday evening, the sun elbowed its way on to the scene and showed off a bit with a rainbow.

 

Looks like a good week to catch up on housework, chores, and summer reading. There might be some sun on Thursday and maybe again on Sunday, according to the current forecast. For the rest of the week? Partly cloudy, showers, and some thunderstorms.

But, hey, maybe we'll get another rainbow, or a double rainbow, like we did Monday evening after Monday's storms.

Here's the forecast for the rest of the week, as of Monday evening:

Tuesday: Isolated showers between 10am and noon, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 73. Northwest wind between 9 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Tuesday Night: Isolated showers before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 58. Northwest wind between 3 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday: A slight chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. West wind between 10 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. West wind between 3 and 9 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 65.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81.
