Broomball League Starting Up At Parade Plaza Rink

New London Main Street organizing group to play hockey-like game this winter

New London Main Street is looking for interested adults to join a broomball league starting up at the Rink at Parade Plaza.

The sport is similar to ice hockey, but players wear shoes instead of skates and use a ball instead of a puck. Players also use a broom-shaped stick and the sport is no-contact.
