Dog Has Happy New Home Thanks to Ledyard Animal Control
And, of course, thanks to the family that has opened their hearts and home to Shamus.
It almost looks like Shamus the dog is smiling in this picture with his new family.
The family, the Burdos, adopted him from the Ledyard Animal Control.
"We're told he's already very excited about his new 'people!' And we join with Ledyard and extending our thanks to the Burdo family for giving this older guy a warm loving place for the rest of his life!" Shelter Connecticut writes on its Facebook page.
