Do a little spring cleaning and help out local animal shelters, too!
Dog Scout Troop 188 is holding a charity clothing drive, according to their post on 's Facebook.
Bring your clothing, bedding, linens, toys, shoes and other soft items to the Ledyard Animal Shelter through June 12, and your donations will be helping nearby shelters, the Dog Scouts of America and other charities.
According to the flyer, donations should be dropped off in 15-gallon trash bags.
