First Freeze of Fall? National Weather Service Issues a 'Freeze Watch'

The National Weather Service has issued a ‘freeze watch’ for Northern New London County. That’s Ledyard, folks!
According to the NWS, the freeze watch is effective from late Friday night through Saturday morning. Temperatures could go as low as the upper 20s. Expect it to start getting frigid beginning at midnight Friday and into early Saturday morning. Temps that low could kill plants and crops and other sensitive vegetation.
