I've Started A Blog, Now What?
Here are some easy ways to spread the word about your blog.
By starting a blog you've taken the first step in opening the dialogue with your neighbors. But now it's time to let them know you're here!
If you post often enough, Patch readers will start seeing your blog in their daily newsletter, on our homepage, our social media pages and in our weekly issue of Best Blogs!
For those who are posting less frequently, it might be wise to start promoting your blog independently.
How do I do that?
Well, you can start by sharing your posts on the Ledyard Patch Facebook page, Tweet about them — and definitely let your friends and family know you're blogging!
From there, let everyone know they can "follow" your blog space on the site with just one click of the "Get email updates" button on your blog's homepage. And then: every time you make a new post, they get it emailed directly to their inbox!
Post your blog on another Patch site and reach out to a neighboring community. Each Patch site has it's own local audience, and we love to share!
