Start A Conversation: Blog on Patch

It's now easier than ever to share and blog on Ledyard Patch — giving you the opportunity to write about anything, any time and anywhere. 

Blog posts can run the gamut: a therapeutic writing exercise, form of expression, way to reach our community, share, start conversations or crowd source your ideas. 

And with our new platform, blogs are immediately featured on the homepage and included in our daily newsletter, as well as frequently shared via Facebook and Twitter by editors. 

Also, Patch makes it easy for you to upload photos and videos to bring more color and pizazz to your posts.

If you have something to announce to the community like a new business grand opening, lost cats and dogs, school plays, wedding announcements, police or fire activity and more — you can do so on the Ledyard Boards.

We’ve set up specific topic boards as well:

• The Opinion Board is where readers can speak their minds, whether it's about a topic we're covering or even ones we're not.

• The Buy/Sell/Trade Board is a great place to tell everyone about garage and yard sales or to see if anyone is looking for a good deal on a used dining room set that’s taking up too much space in your basement.

• The Business Updates Board is a dedicated spot for business owners to post news about sales, specials, openings and closings.
