'Wicked Good Time' is Tonight!
Proceeds from Hair-Raising Event to Benefit Lauren Candler Scholarship Fund
Seventy volunteers have helped put together the second annual “Wicked Good Time” tonight and Saturday from 6-9 p.m. in the woods behind 6 Linden Lane (off Saw Mill Drive).
This Halloween event, which benefits the Lauren Candler Scholarship Fund at Ledyard High School, blends hair-raising thrills with music, goodies, a bonfire, and even a little poetry.
Admission is $7 per person, plus a non-perishable item to be donated to the United Way of SE CT. All proceeds from the event will benefit the scholarship fund.

Tour guides will take small groups through the haunted trail where there will be 14 vignettes in the woods involving three singing groups – the Acabellas and Final Cut from the high school and a women's quartette from a local church.
There will be a poetry reading by the high school National Honor Society, a Mad Scientist, a local girl scout group, a large bonfire, refreshments for sale (hot dogs, drinks, baked goods, and snacks), a haunted movie shown on the Big Screen and a silent auction for both nights.
