Army Band Strikes Up a Birthday Tune

102nd Army National Guard Band Entertained At Ledyard Fairgrounds

At 7 p.m. Monday, the Army Band brought in summer to the clash of cymbals and a fanfare of horns. The playlist for the night included "Happy Birthday" for the town of Ledyard's 175th, The National Anthem, John Williams' "The March From 1941" and Connecticut native Leroy Anderson's "Bugler's Holiday." The concert was well-attended, the weather was perfect and a great time was had by all.
