This spot on Route 12 in Gales Ferry, across from Kartway and on your way to or from Groton, used to be occupied by a Subway, which likely smelled of fresh bread and vegetables at any given time. But now, it's empty.
There is ample parking and it's conveniently located near Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Ocean State Job Lot and McDonalds.
The spot is exposed to commuters during the work week, shoppers and people going to church on the weekend, plus the people who use the Gales Ferry Marina.
