Abbey’s Lantern Hill Inn To Be Featured On MSNBC

has gained some recognition throughout the years from various agencies but apparently that’s not good enough for producers of MSNB’s “Your Business”, which plans to give the bed and breakfast a makeover sometime very soon.

According to a press release, the soon-to-be-filmed episode will focus on a small business makeover with helpful steps that entrepreneurs in the lodging industry can incorporate to make their operation more successful and efficient. The makeover will include an array of marketing enhancements, a budget-conscious room makeover, as well as other surprise improvements.

Filming will take place on location the first week in September.

Abbey’s Lantern Hill Inn is a 7 room bed and breakfast on Lantern Hill Road and is celebrating 20 consecutive years in business. The release said they have thousands of guests visiting Mystic, Foxwoods/MGM, Mohegan Sun and all of Southeastern Connecticut.

The inn features wood-burning fireplaces, jacuzzi tubs, 7 private patios, complimentary organic breakfasts with fresh-ground coffee, wireless internet, large flatscreen TVs, a bonfire pit, hammocks, an outdoor gas grill & entertainment area, hiking trail to scenic Lantern Hill, and a pet-friendly cottage.
