dog waste left on others property

A dog owner has a lot of responsibility, especially cleaning up the waste if it is on another persons property. It is time to stop accepting rude behavior from pet owners and addressing the issue.

I purchased a house about 5 years ago.  I thought the neighborhood was beautiful and the people were friendly.  My first attempt to improve my landscape didn't work so well.  I thought once my neighbors and dog walkers realized that I'm sinking money and time on the property they would understand that I wanted them to pick up the dog waste or not use my, or anyone else, property as a dog walk.  Two years came and went and I became frustrated that no one had the courtesy to clean up after their dogs.  So I asked each individual to please pick it up.  The friendly dog walkers were combative and rude.  Most just blamed someone else, some told me to leave their dog alone, and some did not reply at all.   Spring is here.  Don't we all have a civil responsibility to our neighbors to not destroy or leave waste on others property?  For those who think dog urine is not destructive, let your dog pee on your yard and plants for a month.  You'll see the other part of the waste problem
