Check Out the Wickford Outdoor Art Festival This Weekend

Come to the Wickford Outdoor Art Festival this weekend!

If you like art, you should go to the this weekend, in beautiful Wickford, RI

It's the 50th year of the festival, which was ranked the No. 1 fine arts festival in New England by Sunshine Artist magazine and 7th out of the top 200 in the country!

Artists from around the country will be participating, and the quality of the work is excellent.

This is my third year exhibiting in the show, and it is an honor to be included. I'll be on Elam Street, a side street just a little bit away from Wickford's main street. I like showing on Elam Street a lot - there are enough people to ensure me an interesting and fun day, with a chance at good sales, but it's a little less hectic than the main drag. There's a little more room, too, and I appreciate that!

I'll be showing new paintings, including the newest entries in my 100x100 series, in which I'm making 100 10-inch by 10-inch (100 square inches) paintings, priced at $100. I'm loving the challenge of doing this!

You'll find paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, and all sorts of fine arts at the show. Wickford is a beautiful waterfront village, and the whole thing is a fun event. There are food and beverage vendors, and the restaurants are open, of course - but bring some H20, and sunscreen - and leave your dog at home. It's going to be too hot for him or her!

See you on Elam Street!

Want to see more of my painting? Check out my blog, The Accidental Artist

While you're there, why not sign up to get my blog by email? It's fun and free, and I post my new paintings there first.
