A man involved in a murder-suicide involving four people in Stockton, CA, is listed on a class list of people attending the 20th reunion of the Ledyard High School Class of 1985.
Colin McGrattan, 45, of Stockton, CA, allegedly killed his wife, her sister and their aunt Monday before he shot himself, according to CBS in Sacramento.
The Day is reporting that Colin McGrattan is the son of former Ledyard mayor and state Rep. Mary McGrattan. The Day reached her by phone Wednesday but she declined comment or confirmation. McGrattan currently serves on the Ledyard Town Council.
Colin McGrattan was a family and marriage counselor going through a contentious divorce according to reports, which also say, “homicide investigators are exploring the financial motive for this murder-suicide.”
McGrattan’s Facebook page says he’s a self-employed marriage and family therapist who graduated from the University of Connecticut with the Class of 1990.
THe Huffington Post reported that McGrattan had two teenage sons.
