Daily Five: Last Chance To Register For SATs at LHS
Five things to know on Friday, April 6.
1. Today's a perfect day for an Easter egg hunt. NOAA.gov says it will be sunny, with a high near 55 and tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 31.
2. And, while we're on the topic, the great community Easter egg hunt is rescheduled for today at the Ledyard Fair Grounds at 12:00 p.m.

3. School may be out today but an important deadline is holding fast. Today is the last chance to register online for the May 5 SAT at Ledyard High School. Register at www.collegeboard.org
4. Principal Jennifer Byers announced her resignation to parents of students yesterday. Byers will become an administrator in the Deep River school district. The Ledyard Patch will have more on Dr. Byers' career at Gallup Hill, so check back again soon.

5. February waste disposal totals are in! Mayoral Assistant Mark Bancroft said residents threw away 346.52 tons of household waste, which costs $22,523.80 to dispose of and recycled 96.34 tons, which fetches $3,371.90.
