Daily Five: Mardi Gras, Back To School!

Five things to know for Tuesday Feb. 21, 2012

1. Noaa.gov says today should be early-spring-like: "Mostly sunny, with a high near 42."

2. It's back to school today for Ledyard students, although some other districts have today off as well as Monday.

3. The town is advertising for a new zoning and inland wetlands official. The job is 35 hours per week with benefits and a salary of $24.88 per hour. This job has been vacant since July 2010.

4. The Gallup Hill School PTO is facilitating a CPR class for adults today. Cost for the class is $25. Don't forget to upload all your great community events to the calendar - it's free!
