Daily Five: Sign Up To March With Ledyard Safe Teens

Five things to know on Wednesday, May 10.

 

1. Today, showers are likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 4 p.m. and it will be cloudy, with a high near 64, according to the National Weather Service. And tonight will have showers and possibly a thunderstorm with a low around 55.

2. You know it’s spring when the Ledyard Garden Club advertises it annual plant sale. The sale is Saturday from 8:30 am to 12 p.m. at the Ledyard Congregational Church Hall.

3. Did you get a chance to see a video of Bridget? She’s an 8-year-old bassett hound at the animal shelter now. She had some surgeries last week but that certainly didn’t seem to slow her down, she’s as friendly and 

4. From Ledyard Patch Facebook: “The Ledyard Safe Teens Coalition will be marching in the Memorial Day parade again this year and throwing out our promotional balls to the crowd.
