- Yesterday also was opening day for deer hunting in Connecticut. Five local men were arrested in Cornwall Wednesday for illegal deer hunting, including hunting on private land without permission from the owner.
- Make plans now to see the Ledyard High School Drama production of 'Spoon River Anthology,' which opens Friday night at United Methodist Church in Gales Ferry. Tickets are $5.
