Ledyard in Top 20, New School Record, Town Council Meets, LHS Concert

  2. Ledyard received a rating of 20th on Conncticut Magazine's list of best towns in Connecticut with population between 15,000 and 25,000. There are 32 towns on the list. How does that sound to you? Tell us in comments and take our poll.
  3. The Day reported on Tuesday that Alex Manwaring’s 317-yard rushing performance against Bacon Academy Saturday set a new school record. Congratulations Alex!
  4. The Ledyard Town Council will meet tonight at 7:30, the last meeting before Election Day, but not the last time before the new council is sworn in. The old council will meet on Nov. 9 before new councilors are sworn in on Dec. 5.
  5. The Ledyard High School Music Department performed before a packed house Tuesday night. This was the department’s first concert of the school year. Watch for our video.
