- The Halloween Haunted Trail to benefit the Lauren Candler Scholarship Fund at LHS is tonight and Saturday from 6-9 p.m. at 6 Linden Lane (off of Saw Mill Drive). Walk a haunted trail in the woods... with singing groups, a poetry reading, a Mad Scientist, baked goods, a bonfire… What more could you want? And for a great cause.
- Our candidate Q&As continue today. On Thusday we featured Naomi Rodriguez and Mike France.
- Colonels football standout Mike Manwaring is featured today as the Patch Athlete of the Week. He not only is an incredible athlete, he also is a nice, polite, studious kid and a credit to Ledyard High School.
- Speaking of football, tonight Montville comes to town. The 4-2 Indians have dropped two straight, including a loss last week to NFA and a shocker the week before to Griswold. They will be anxious to get back to on the winning track, so Ledyard will have to be sharp. Still no bleachers, so bring a chair and a blanket. Should be a great game.
