Five Things to Know Today

Absentee Ballots, Vo-Ag Awards, Rodolico Endorsement, Sea Music

  1. Another hot one today, with intervals of clouds and sunshine. High 92F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph. Variable clouds tonight with thunderstorms, especially during the evening. A few storms may be severe. Low 68F.
  2. Absentee ballots are now available in the Ledyard Town Clerk’s Office for the Judge of Probate primary on June 21. Eligible voters must be party-affiliated. The deadline to return ballots is June 20 by 4:30 p.m.
  3. The Ledyard High School Agri-Science and Technology Department and local chapter of the Future Farmers of America presented the 44th annual Awards Ceremony Wednesday. Watch for our story.
  4. The nominating committee of the Ledyard RTC has endorsed John Rodolico as the Republican candidate for mayor.  The full Republican Town Committee will be voting on that endorsement plus the full slate of candidates on Monday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m.
