- Today is primary day. If you are a registered Democrat or Republican, don’t forget to vote for your choice for regional Probate Judge.
- Today is also the first day of summer, and the last day of school in Ledyard. Funny how that worked out.
- D.A.R.E. officer Liz Smith kissed a pig yesterday at Juliet W. Long School. So did fourth-grade teacher Santo Silva. That pig was really feeling the love.
- A total of 223 eighth-graders were honored Monday at Ledyard Middle School (watch for our report later this morning). Next stop: high school! But first a nice long summer to still be kids.
