Five Things: OK, The Giants Won The Super Bowl And It's Time To Help Shape Ledyard's Budget

Five things to know on Monday, February 6

1. Everyone will be talking about the Super Bowl today. Manning's fourth-quarter come-back drive was excellent.

2. The school board is hosting a public hearing Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium to discuss the proposed budget cuts. The cut to Project Oceanology may be especially criticized in light of Ledyard’s unprecedented victory in the Quahog Bowl this weekend

3. On that note, budget season is upon us and town councilor Linda Davis counted out more than 20 public meetings and hearings on shaping the next year’s budget. All are welcome and she encouraged Ledyard residents to join in the process.
