Five Things: Youth Football Clinic

  2. Ledyard High School Football Coach Jim Buonocore will host a Youth Football Clinic on five consecutive Sundays, Feb. 12 through March 11, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the gymnasium.   3. Yesterday we featured Eric Widstrom, who celebrated 100 years on Tuesday. In keeping with our theme, today it’s Jim Henry, who is visiting Mrs. Ambrosch’s third-grade class at . Henry wrote and published a book at 98. It must be true – 90 is the new 70.
  4. Remember Katie Fargo? She’s just taken a job as teen librarian at Scranton Public Library in Madison, and was featured Tuesday in the Madison Patch. She seems to be doing quite well.
  5. Our Lady of Lourdes will host a seminar on end-of-life issues from a Christian perspective on Thursday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. This is the first seminar presented at the church on this important topic, and will feature seven speakers, covering everything from legal issues and geriatric care to hospice and funeral planning.
