Ledyard Arrests August 15 – August 31

The following arrest information was supplied by the Connecticut State Police Troop E and the Ledyard police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

August 26

At 12:33 a.m. police arrested Jukumu Reels-Felder, 22, of 8 Elizabeth George Drive in Mashantucket on a warrant. Reels-Felder was charged with assault 3rd and assessed a $20,000 cash bond.

At 2:45 a.m. police arrested Jill Marincki, 38, of 132 North Street in Groton, and charged her with speeding and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Marincki was assessed a $500 non surety bond and given a Sept. 11 court date.

At 9:40 p.m. officers responded to reports of a noise and a belligerent neighbor on Long Cove Road. Upon arrival, officers identified themselves and the occupant ran into the back of the residence, according to the report. He returned with what appeared to be a rifle and officers took cover. As it turned out, the occupant John A Higgins, 44, of 26 Long Cove Road had brandished a golf club and was later arrested and charged with breach of peace. Higgins was assessed a $500 non-surety bond and given a Sept. 6 court date.

August 31

At 1:20 a.m. police arrested Matthew A. Goodson, 24, of 3 Meryl Circle in Groton, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and using a cell phone while driving. Goodson was assessed a $500 non surety bond and given a Sept. 11 court date.
