Norwich Man Charged in Ledyard Home Invasion

The year-long investigation continues and police have identified additional suspects.

 

A Norwich man was taken into custody Friday by Troopers from Troop E and Ledyard police officers after a year-long investigation into a home invasion on 13 Marla Drive last October.

Detectives, armed with a court ordered warrant, located Dwayne Sebastian at 60 Coachman Pike in Ledyard, although his last known address is 136 Prospect Street in Norwich. Sebastian was taken into custody Friday morning without incident.

Sebastian was charged with first-degree burglary, two counts of criminal use of a firearm and two counts of first-degree criminal attempt robbery. Sebastian's bond is $150,000.

No injuries were reported in the Oct. 14, 2011 incident when “three black males armed with handguns entered the occupied residence, and robbed the victims of cash and jewelry,” said press release issued Lt. J. Paul Vance of the Connecticut State Police.
