Readers' Choice: A Touch Of Elegance Wins Best Salon

Ledyard Patch readers have submitted and then went in for a second round and . Helia and Mollie at the winners of this week's Readers Choice Award.

Ledyard Patch user Joanna Lame wrote, "I've been going to A Touch of Elegance for at least a couple of years. Helia and Mollie are the best. I look forward to my visits and leave feeling like a million bucks!!"

And, Lucinda Johnson agreed.  She wrote, "A Touch of Elegance is the best!! Great service & professional staff! Love Helia & Mollie!!"

A Touch of Elegance took first place based on the number of reviews it received in its directory listing and the number of votes it received in the poll.

Votes are just one element of the contest, readers can help a business gain more ground by submitting a positive review. That's how A Touch of Elegance won this contest.

received 48 percent of the votes in the poll as opposed to the 25 percent cast for A Touch of Elegance. However, it did not receive any reviews during the Readers' Choice contest and A Touch of Elegance received three and therefore gained the winning spot.

Regardless, both salons have developed a loyal customer base, that's for sure.
