Claudia Ford discusses information collected by anthropologist and ethnographer Dr. Tantaquidgeon (Mohegan) about the use of plant medicines for women’s health in the 18th and 19th centuries, comparing it with information collected by other important Native historians, ethnographers, and scholars.
