Walk the Labyrinth

This beautiful tradition has been a staple of our Holy Week experience since 2004. Many members of our congregation have shared in this many-centuries old tradition for personal meditation and spiritual growth. Our labyrinth is 30 feet in diameter and is painted on canvas. It is based on the 11-circuit labyrinth in Chartres Cathedral south of Paris. The path of the labyrinth has one way in and out. It is not a maze, where there are wrong turns or ways to get lost. It is a journey to the center, for many a symbol of their life’s journey toward God. It is a time of quiet meditation in the center and then, a returning to the outside of the labyrinth and out into the world. Information will be available in the Blue Room for your preparation. Small scale and lap-sized labyrinths will also be available for those not able to walk the large labyrinth.
