Remember to Stamp Out Hunger This Saturday
Letter carriers will pick up donations left by the mailbox.
Can you think of an easier way to donate food to the Ledyard Social Services than to just leave it in your front yard for someone to pick up?
That’s the plan this Saturday during the Stamp Out Hunger food drive sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers.
It’s really easy to participate in the food drive, all you have to do isCollect and bag non-perishable food items.Place by your mailbox for letter carriers to deliver to Ledyard Social Services.
According to Doris Fonner, of the Ledyard Social Services, the Ledyard and Gale Ferry post offices have not distributed fliers to promote the food drive but the program is ongoing, so please donate!
