There are many people out there that still don't know about their local pounds and rescues. Daily I am asked if "we" (meaning pounds) adopt animals out. I used to be surprised but now I answer with a resounding "YES, WE DO!"
Our kennel is currenly 95% full, New Londons kennel is OVERFLOWING! Groton has some room but not much. Our kennels are full of wonderful, adoptable pets. In Ledyard our dogs are ranging from 9 months old to 2 yrs old. Many are all ready spayed or neutered.
So please pass the word, before you adopt from out of state or go to a petstore and buy a pet call and come by your local town pound. You will be surprised at the variety and enjoy the adoption process.
