Monday May 28 from 12-3 , the Ledyard K9 officers and their partners will be at Cows and Cones doing demonstrations. The demos are fun and a great learning experience.
Officer Gagnon with his K9 partner, Ringo and Officer Kempke and his K9 partner, Lambeau will explain their training and then show you how and why they do what they do. Last year was fun to watch them find a "lost " cell phone in a field and see Officer Kempke with Ringo on his bite sleeve. Thats 120 lbs of dog hanging on!
Ledyard Animal Control will also be there to answer questions on what we do here at the kennel and our jobs.
