UPDATE: Gales Ferry Man Charged After Domestic Disturbance On Clark Lane

Police took the accused into custody without incident.

 

A Gales Ferry man was arrested without incident after police talked him out of his garage Wednesday.

Timothy E Epperson, 49, of 3 Clark Lane, refused to leave his garage for about 20 minutes after police responded to a domestic disturbance call around 5:10 p.m., according to Ledyard Police Lt. Michael Finkelstein.

Epperson was charged with reckless endangerment first degree, breach of peace, and risk of injury to a minor. Epperson was given a September 13 court date.

Initial reports indicate that family members had fled the house and that the accused had a machette and some other kind of weapon.
