The Ledyard Police Department is investigating another burglary that happened on Tanglewood Drive in Gales Ferry, according to a post on the Ledyard Gales Ferry Community Forum Facebook page. Apparently, the Tanglewood Drive burglary is not connected to last week's burglaries in town.
The post said, "While we have no information linking it to this crime, the victim reports a blue Chevy pick up truck approached his residence at least a day prior to the burglary, which did not occur during the daytime.
The individual in the truck made contact with the homeowner and provided him with a name and number, unlike the passenger from the blue Ford last week which approached asking for directions and left.
Anyone with information or who observes suspicious activity is asked to call the Ledyard Police Department at 860-464-6400."
