Cops Nab Suspects in Two Recent Thefts

Plainfield, Gales Ferry men are facing larceny charges.

Ledyard police on Monday made two arrests in connection with separate theft investigations.

At about 1 a.m., Ledyard Police, with assistance from Norwich Police, arrested Joshua Hall, 25, of 82 Spaulding Road in Plainfield, and charged him with fifth-degree larceny in connection with the theft of a television from a Stoddards Wharf Road residence in August. Hall was released on his own recognizance and will be arraigned at New London Superior Court on Oct. 21.

Early Monday afternoon, Ledyard officers arrested Zachery Warwyck, 23, whose last known address was 10 Ridge Road in Gales Ferry, and charged him with sixth-degree larceny in relation to an incident in which items were taken from a Gales Ferry home. Another man was arrested in connection with that crime on Friday, Oct. 4, but police do not expect any more arrests in the case. Warwyck is set to be arraigned at New London Superior Court on Oct. 24.
