Tricia Lynn Beattie was not just the mother of three daughters but she also had a son and two stepchildren, according to the obituary published in The Day.
Beattie’s in the waters off Bluff Point in Groton.
The 36-year-old mother worked at a Dunkin Donuts in Groton.
State police are investigating her death calling it suspicious. The state medical examiner has not ruled on a cause of death pending toxicology testing.
According to the obituary, her funeral will be held Thursday in New London.
