Ledyard Arrests April 26 – May 3

The following arrest information was supplied by the Connecticut State Police Troop E and the Ledyard police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Aprl 26

At 7:29 police arrested Gladys Caban, 27, of 12 Ephraim’s Path was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal mischief. She was assessed a $500 non-surety bond and given a May 10 court date.

April 27

At 3:29, police responded to a hit and run at Ledyard Center School. An unidentified car damaged the left front bumper of a 2010 black Honda Ridgeline that was parked. The vehicle is registered to Melissa L. Stout of 15 Naomi Drive and there were no injuries as a result of the incident.

April 30

At 8:01 p.m., police were dispatched to 1709 Center Groton Road for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival police found David Cooper, 41, (no address given). The victim stated that Cooper “was extremely intoxicated and had become violent and punched a wood panel door,” which officers observed at the scene. Initially Cooper refused to obey the responding officer, according to the report, but he cooperated after the officer took aim with his taser. Cooper was charged with disorderly conduct, assessed a $5,000 cash bond and given a May 1 court date.
