Ledyard Arrests July 19 – July 26

The following arrest information was supplied by the Connecticut State Police Troop E and the Ledyard police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

At 1:30 a.m. police clocked Mathew Hebert, 29, of East Hartford, going 61 mph on Route 12. Hebert was pulled over for speeding but also failed the standardized field sobriety test. Heboni was arrested and charged with speeding and driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. He was assessed a $1000 fine and given an August 2 court date.

At 11:14 p.m. police responded to a disturbance on Trolley Lane Boulevard. They found that Anthony Herrera-Cartageana, 23, no address listed, was involved in a verbal fight with his girlfriend and tried to backhand her. He missed and “proceeded to grab her by the hair in a threatening manner.” He was charged with breach of peace, assessed a $500 bond and given a July 23 court date.

At 3:56 a.m. police arrested Denis R. Sampeur, 35, of New Britain was arrested after he fled the scene of a motor vehicle accident. Sampeur was charged with driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and evading. He was assessed a $500 non-surety bond and given an August 2 court date.
