Ledyard Arrests September 20 – September 27
The following arrest information was supplied by Connecticut State Police, Troop E and the Ledyard police department. It does not indicate a conviction.
September 23
At 1:04 a.m. police arrested an intoxicated motorist on Route 12. Chelsea M. Armstrong, 20, of Canterbury, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, assessed a $500 non-surety bond and given an Oct. 11 court date.

September 24
At 3:28 p.m. police received a received a report of a domestic disturbance on Baldwin Hill Road. Police arrested Gwendolyn Williams, 62, of 1333 Baldwin Hill Road. Williams was transported to Backus Hospital to be evaluated for a psych problem, according to the report and was charged with third-degree criminal attempt to commit assault. Williams was given a Sept. 25 court date.
