Dewitt A. Sizer, III, 42, of 87 Vinegar Hill Road in Gales Ferry, was transported to L+M Hospital after a one-car crash into a stone wall near the entrance of 69 Vinegar Hill Road Wednesday night.
Police say Dewitt was the sole occupant of the vehicle and did not sustain life-threatening injuries but had significant facial lacerations, which required treatment.
Ledyard Police Department, Ledyard Volunteer Emergency Squad and Gales Ferry Fire Department responded.
