Ledyard Police Catch Alleged Cigarette Swiper

Mikhail Arroyo, 19, of Ashford was charged with burglarizing Ledyard Farms Store.

A press release from the Ledyard Police Department:

On November 10, 2013 at approximately 4:40am the Ledyard Police Department was notified of a commercial burglar alarm activation at the Ledyard Farms Store, located on Route 12 in the Gales Ferry section of Ledyard. At the same time, the Ledyard Police Department also received the report from a passerby of a suspicious male outside of another business located on Route 12. 

On arrival of Officers It was determined that a burglary had occurred at Ledyard Farms in which the front door was smashed and entry gained. During the course of the crime cigarettes were taken. After further investigation It was also determined that the suspicious male was responsible for the commercial burglary.

As a result, Mikhail Arroyo, 19, of 574 Ashford Center Rd Ashford, CT was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, Larceny 3rd Degree. He was processed and released on bond with a court date of November 25, 2013 at GA 10 in New London.
