Ledyard Police Hosting Prescription Drug Disposal Event On Oct. 26

The Ledyard Police Department will be taking unused prescription drugs on Saturday, Oct. 26.

On Saturday, Oct. 26, residents are encouraged to turn in their unused and unwanted prescriptions drugs at the Ledyard Police Department for safe disposal.

Often, unused prescription drugs wind up in the wrong hands, such as those belonging to experimenting teenagers. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The police department is located at 11 Lorenz Parkway in Ledyard.
