A press release from the Ledyard Police Department:
On Dec. 3, the Ledyard Police Department received a report that a resident had returned to his home located on Shewville Road near the Preston town line and found items missing.
Officers initiated a criminal investigation and determined that the home had been entered between Saturday and Tuesday and multiple items, including electronics, had been stolen. This crime remains under investigation and anyone who may have information is urged to contact the Ledyard Police Department at 860-464-6400.
