List of Closed Roads in Ledyard, Gales Ferry

Here is an alphabetical list of road closings in Ledyard and Gales Ferry as of Monday morning, provided by the Ledyard Police Department.

Arrowhead Drive.

Bittersweet Drive by Cornell Court. 

Christy Hill Road, between Crestview Drive and Norman Drive. (You can pass the obstruction by detouring up Crestview and back down Norman.)

Kennedy Drive.

Lantern Hill Road at White Pine Drive.

Long Cove Road just on either side of Route 12.

Maple Corners Road near Military Highway. 

Matthewson Mill Road at the Preston Town Line.

Meadow Drive.

Meetinghouse Lane at Old Colony Land.

North Glenwoods Road at Forest Lane.

Route 214 AT Whalehead Road and Route 12.

Shewville Road at Silas Deane.

Stoneybrook Road.

Whalehead Road between Avery Hill Ext. and Route 12, and at Route 214.

Washington Drive at Partridge Hollow.

Ledyard Police Lt. Michael Finkelstein said state and town crews are out there working to clear obstructions, but he said reopening many roads depend on when the power company can clear downed wires. 

Finkelstein reiterated that the main line to the Ledyard PD is not working yet. Residents may contact Ledyard police by calling 860 464-8225.
